About Us
Golden West Moving & Storage is based out of Southern California and has been active in the California Moving and Storage Association for the past 30 years. Golden West Moving was the rebirth of a small moving company that started out on the East Coast. The owner and founder, Peter Yoss, relocated from New York in 1980, and began Golden West, a recognized name in the local Huntington Beach area.
By 1987, Golden West was so strong due to its loyal client base of repeat and recommendation business that it ceased to use conventional advertising. This meant that Golden West could spend more time and energy building the customer service aspect of the business.
Over the years, Peter has received hundreds of letters from customers commenting on the professionalism exhibited by each moving crew and the respect and conscientiousness that they display when it comes to both the personal items and the property they are moving to or from.
Today, Golden West is an independent company made up of long term loyal employees that help satisfy out customers not only in the Southern California but around the nation.
